Pen Pic: Hibbs signed for FC Halifax Town in 2013 after being chosen as the successful player in trials run by the club. His reward was a first-team contract and he has since had loan spells at Droylsden, Hyde United and most recently AFC Telford United. Upon returning from that loan spell the central midfielder established himself as a regular in the Town team. He has shown the versatility to fill in more than competently at right back when needed.
Hibbs enjoyed a successful season in 2016/17, with stand-out performances including an outstanding free-kick goal in the 4-2 home win against Grimsby, and a tenacious performance against the same team in the FA Trophy final. Hibbs signed a three-year deal with the Shaymen in May 2016 which carries through to the end of the 2018/19 season.
