FC Halifax Town make the very long trip to the south coast to take on Weymouth in front of the BT Sport Cameras this weekend (Sat 5.20pm kick-off)
It will be the Shaymen’s first game in front of the TV cameras this season and Town boss Pete Wild be wanting more of the performances and goals that he got from his side in Wednesday’s 5-2 win over Barnet.
Goals from Jeff King, Nyal Bell, Jake Hyde, Jack Earing and Martin Woods helped Town to a first victory since the opening day of the season at home to Dagenham & Redbridge.
Weymouth lost 2-1 at home to Chesterfield last weekend which was their only league game in November due to a Covid outbreak in their squad.
They have only won once on home soil this season in four attempts which was a 2-1 victory over King’s Lynn on the 17th October. They have scored in each of their last four games but have only got 7 points from the first 24 on offer and sit 21st in the table.
Their top goalscorer is Tom Whelan with three goals in his seven appearances to date, 2 of them have come from the penalty spot.
