The 2017/18 season may just have ended but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty still going on around the grounds, as teams start to prepare as the new season hastily approaches. Here is some up to date news on the latest done deals in the national league since the season’s end:
Aldershot Town:
They have been busy in recent weeks tying down 9 first team players to new contracts: Matt McClure, Matt Bozier, Jake Cole, George Fowler, Jake Gallagher, Lewis Kinsella, Adam McDonnell, Scott Rendell and Shamir Fenelon.

- Defender Will Evans has joined Chesterfield after making 80 appearances for the club and scoring 7 goals since joining from Eastleigh in 2016.
- Defender Callum Reynolds- turned down the option of a new contract the club captain leaves after making 90 appearances for the club over the last two seasons since signing from Boreham Wood in 2016.
- Midfielder Manny Oyeleke- he has also turned down the chance to sign a new deal after making 101 appearances despite being named both the players’ and supporters’ player of the year for the 2017-18 season.
