On the 8th October 2013 the FCHT half time schools 5 a side competition started with Rawson Vs Fearnville. 28 weeks, 10 games and 24 goals later we are left with 2 teams; Savile Park and Salterlee!
The time has come to find out which team will become this seasons champions. Savile Park just managed to edge out St Chad’s in the semi final with a narrow 1-0 win. However, Savile Park captain Omayr caused the defence all kinds of problems that day and Savile Park will be hoping he can do the same again.
Salterlee’s semi final match was a bit more straight forward as they cruised to a 4-0 victory over Holywell Green. George B ran the Holywell Green defence ragged. Salterlee will be hoping their Bradford City man can have the same affect on this game.
A big thank you needs to be said to Elliot Walsh who has written all the match reports, Luke Couchman for refereeing the matches and to the FCHT players who have taken part in the Q+A sessions. Good luck to both teams and can both the South and East Stands get behind the players.
