Josh Macdonald continues with his ongoing rehabilitation programme.
Sanmi picked up an injury during pre season , a tear of his rectus femoris ( part of the quad that impacts kicking the ball and accelerating ) due to our injury situation with the squad , he returned to training and playing, to aid and help, even though not 100% … as time has gone on the rectus femoris was causing pain and was restrictive. Following a scan it has shown that Sanmi has a bony growth in the area that the consultant says will have to be surgically removed.. we’re awaiting a date.
Ben Tomlinson has had an injection to reduce the swelling in his knee which seems to have had a positive impact so we will continue to manage his workload.
