FC Halifax Town return to the Shay on Saturday with the visit of Eastleigh in the Vanarama National League.

The Shaymen drew 0-0 away at Woking in our last league game which saw captain Matty Brown return to the side but his centrehalf partner Nathan Clarke was sent off and our appeal against the red card has been dismissed so he will miss Eastleigh at home, Harrogate away and Yeovil Town away

Eastleigh won 4-2 at home to Harrogate Town in their last league game on the 2nd November, they were due to play Wrexham at home last week but that had to be rearranged due to Wrexham’s involvement in the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup against Rangers.

They have only lost once in their last eight games in the league and currently sit 11th in the table

Their top goalscorer is Danny Hollands who has scored 7 goals in 20 appearances this season
