Tony Durkin has revealed he is aiming to announce who will replace Neil Young as Chester manager before this Saturday’s home match against Barnet.

The Chester FC chairman confirmed that the club had interviewed all three shortlisted candidates and that they were now reviewing the situation.

Durking admitted that caretaker manager Gary Jones is one of those three candidates but refused to be drawn on the other two names being considered.

Kidderminster Harriers striker Joe Lolley has joined Championship club Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed six-figure fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Lolley, 21,has scored 11 times in 25 games this season, including the goal that saw Harriers knock Peterborough out of the FA Cup on Tuesday.

The move continues a phenomenal few months for the winger who only joined Kidderminster in the summer, having jumped up from Midland CoMBination side Littleton, for whom he scored 88 goals in 83 games.

Chester FC have completed the signing of midfielder John Rooney.

Rooney, 23, the brother of Manchester United striker Wayne, joined the Blues on loan at the end of November 2013 and after a string of good performances the club have signed him up until the end of next season.

Luton Town have completed a loan deal for Norwich City youngster Cameron McGeehan.

The 18-year-old central midfielder captained the Canaries to FA Youth Cup glory last season, scoring penalties in both legs of the final against Chelsea.

McGeehan arrives at Kenilworth Road on a 28-day youth loan, and is eligible to play for the Hatters this weekend against Wrexham in the Skrill Premier.

Tamworth have completed the signing of Swindon Town striker Connor Waldon on a one month loan deal.

Woking’s loan move for Gillingham striker Adam Birchall has fallen through. Cards’ manager Garry Hill had hoped that Birchall would help fill the void left by Jack Marriott, but he will now remain at Priestfield.
