FC Halifax Town will take a break from league action with a trip to St Ives tomorrow in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen will be looking for victory to make the 1st Round of the FA Cup against their hosts who are two divisions below them in the Football pyramid.

Town have picked up four league points in the last two games which saw a 1-0 win at home to York City and a 1-1 draw away at Maidstone last weekend.

So far Town have won only once on the road with a 2-0 victory against Scunthorpe United

St Ives lost in the FA Trophy last weekend with a penalty shoot-out defeat away at Belper Town, whilst they are unbeaten in their last three league games with a 3-1 home win over Chasetown and drew 1-1 with Hitchin and beat Ilkeston 3-2 away from home.

Their top goalscorer this season is ex Town frontman Jonathan Edwards who has scored 10 goals in 13 appearances closely followed by Nabil Shariff who has 8 goals in 11 games.

If a replay is needed, the game will be played at the Shay Stadium on Tuesday 18th October, 7.45pm kick-of.
