FC Halifax Town will travel to Altrincham on Good Friday in the latest Vanarama National League game, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen go into the game in 3rd place after 37 league games just a point behind 2nd placed Wrexham and 14 points above 8th placed Dagenham & Redbridge.

Town have picked up 22 points from the last 30 on offer but have lost both of the last two away games with a 2-0 defeat at King’s Lynn and 3-1 at Wrexham but will be looking for an 8th away victory of the season.

Altrincham are 15th in the table and have won their last five home games with victories over Aldershot, Chesterfield, Eastleigh, Weymouth and Dagenham. The last dropped points on home soil was back on the 5th February with a 2-2 draw against Woking.

Goals from Jordan Slew and Billy Waters helped Town to a 2-0 win back at the Shay in August.

There will be a couple of familiar faces in the Altrincham squad with Matty Kosylo and A-Jay Leitch Smith now plying their trade with the Robins

Their top scorer is Ryan Colclough with 11 goals from 32 appearances
