FC Halifax Town will make the long trip south to Eastleigh this weekend, 3pm kick-off.
Town won 1-0 in midweek at home to Aldershot Town thanks to Jamie Allen’s late goal at the Shay which now makes it four wins in a row and unbeaten in the last six games.
It was also the second clean sheet in a row as The Shaymen moved up to 6th in the table.
Our away form has seen wins in the last three games with wins over Notts County, Wealdstone and Torquay United.
Eastleigh haven’t won in their last five games in the Vanarama National League. Their last win was a 1-0 victory over Stockport County at home on the 20th February thanks to a Joseph Tomlinson penalty.
They are three points behind the Shaymen in 9th place going into the game.
Town won 3-1 at home just before Christmas. Jamie Allen, Kieran Green put us ahead, Tyrone Barnett pulled one back but Nyal Bell sealed the points on 84 minutes.
Eastleigh’s top goalscorers are Joseph Tomlinson and Tyrone Barnett both with 8 goals in the league each, Tomlinson’s figures include 7 from the penalty spot.
