FC Halifax Town return to the Shay Stadium for the first time since January 30th with Hartlepool United making the trip south for this Vanarama National League game, 7pm kick-off.

This rearranged game has already been called off three times due to the weather and will be the third time the two sides have played this season.

Town knocked Hartlepool United out of the Buildbase FA Trophy back in December winning on penalties at the Shay Stadium.

In the league game at Victoria Park on Boxing Day, Hartlepool won 3-1 against ten men Halifax as on loan striker Nyal Bell was sent off for a second bookable offence with just over 20 minutes remaining.

Pete Wild’s side only played two games in February and will go into the game in 15th place in the table and haven’t played since the 3-2 win over top of the table Torquay United on the 20th February.

Hartlepool on three out of their five games in February including a 1-0 win over Barnet at home at the weekend and sit third in the table just four points behind leaders Torquay United. They are level on points with Sutton however they have three games in hand over Hartlepool.

Luke Armstrong has 9 goals this season in his 14 starts in the Vanarama National League with 8 out of those 9 coming in home matches. His only goal on the road in the league came against Notts County in December.
