FC Halifax Town will entertain Vanarama National League leaders Macclesfield Town at the MBi Shay Stadium tomorrow in the first game of 2018.

The Shaymen go into the match on the back of a 0-0 draw at the weekend in one of the longest trips of the season away at Dover Athletic.

Town will be without Danny Clarke for the visit of the Silkmen following his two yellow cards at the Crabble whilst Macclesfield will be without Shwan Jalal who was sent off in their 1-0 victory over Sutton United at Moss Rose on Saturday.

Michael Duckworth made his first start for the Shaymen since the 26th August when Town faced Guiseley at the MBi Shay Stadium due to injury and he was sore after the game, but Town boss Billy Heath is hoping he will be fit for Monday’s game

Matty Brown is likely to miss out with a back injury, which he has had for a while, whilst Matty Kosylo is training with the team and hoping to be back in action soon.
