Friday was the turn of the girls in the last qualifying round of the Adam Heslop Cup at North Bridge Leisure Centre.
Twelve teams were battling for the four slots available at the finals on 2nd March.
Beech Hill took top spot in βGroup Aβ without losing a game and only conceding one goal. Copley were close on their heels and the 5 goals from Evie W got them enough points to qualify in second place.
Walsden had a completely balanced performance with two wins, a draw, two defeats, four goals scored and four goals conceded.
In βGroup Bβ Parkinson Lane were dominant, the 9 goals from Sundas and 8 from Aruba helped them to a 100% record. On their run they scored 23 and didnβt concede a single goal.
St. Chadβs Girls join their boyβs team at the finals after a strong performance, their only loss and goals conceded coming against Parkinson Lane. Evie H finishing as St. Chadβs and the days top scorer with 10 goals.
Warley Road and St. Malachyβs had to be separated by goals scored after they both finished with 5 points and a goal difference of -6. Warley Roadβs 3 goals meant they finished in 3rd place.
Schools qualified for the finals on March 2nd at NBLC.
