AFC Fylde striker Danny Rowe is currently the league’s top scorer having scored 26 goals so far this term. His 148 minutes per goal ratio is also one of the best in the league for players who have scored more than ten goals.

They are currently fifth in the table, having lost only 8 games this season. This record is the second best in the division, behind league leaders Leyton Orient.

Fylde are nicknamed the coasters and play their home games at Mill Farm, which is based in Wesham, Lancashire.

The club are relatively new on the scene having only been founded in 1988. They were originally known as Kirkham & Wesham, following a merger of both towns.

After winning the FA Vase in 2008, the club were renamed to AFC Fylde.

Their manager is ex Tranmere Rovers defender Dave Challinor, who has been manager of the club since 2011. He stands as one of the longest serving managers in English football.

In 2016/17 they won promotion to the National League after winning the division. They finished 7th last campaign in their first season in the fifth tier of English football.

The record attendance to this date came in 2016 in the National league north. 3,858 people came to watch their match against Chorley.

The club play in an all-white home jersey with their alternative colours being black and yellow.

Their best FA Cup performance came last season as they reached the second round of the competition. They were eventually knocked out by Wigan Athletic in a replay.
