As we begin this new year, we take a look at some of the news from around the National League.

AFC Fylde have announced they have recalled winger Ash Hemmings from loan. Hemmings was at Altrincham with his loan expiring on the 14th of January but Dave Challinor but was recalled taking his place in the squad for New Year’s Day.

Solihull Moors have strengthened their squad with the addition of Myles Boney. The goalkeeper signed a one-month loan deal from League side Blackpool. The youngster has only made five appearances for Blackpool in all competitions and will provide back-up to Ryan Boot.

Despite only joining recently, Barrow striker Olly Dyson has had to return to parent club Huddersfield Town due to injury. Dyson suffered an injury to his hamstring and has returned to Huddersfield to have scans and assessments.

Havant & Waterlooville have confirmed they have signed Hassan Jalloh. Jalloh joins after scoring 12 goals 17 games for Hayes & Yeading. Jalloh was also part of the Nike Academy for a while after impressing in one of their trials.

Maidstone United have announced they have parted ways with manager Harry Wheeler. The decision was made following Boxing Day’s 3-1 loss to Dover Athletic. Wheeler had been in charge for four months taking 12 points from 15 games.
