FC Halifax Town dropped their first home points of the season against Leyton Orient after late James Alabi goal crept in at the front post to deny Town only their 3rd win in the 15 meetings between the two sides.
Nathan Clarke spoke to Jordan Hart after the game.Β Clarke said βin the first half we were under a lot of pressure. Going into half time at 0-0 we hoped to switch it round and put them under pressure.
Clarke who played 113 games for Orient between 2012 and 2015. When asked about playing against a former side. Clarke replied βit was a massive part of my career and it was good coming up against them.
After 4 wins at home in the league Town lost their 100% record with their third draw in a week after away draws at Sutton United and Wrexham. To turn this form around and get back to winning ways Clarke said, βwe are playing really wellβ and continued βwe need to take more care in the final thirdβ
After a late equaliser, the players were devasted as Orient players wheeled away in celebration. Clarke explained βit was a hard one to take and as a team we defended really wellβ
