FC Halifax Town would like to confirm that the public lift to all three floors of the East Stand will be inoperative for this evenings game versus Barrow AFC.
Calderdale MBC has advised that there is a serious mechanical failure affecting the drive mechanism of the lift which cannot be repaired in time for tonight’s game. Every effort has been made to resolve the problem in time without success. Both FC Halifax Town and Calderdale Council apologise for the inconvenience this will undoubtedly cause certain visitors.
Every effort will be made for people to reach their seats with additional staff support, for those with wheelchairs there may be some pitch side viewing given the good weather.
Update, for wheelchair users we have been offered a solution via the kitchen service lift. Please make yourself known upon arrival at main reception
