The Shaymen will look to bounce back against Boreham Wood to confirm their place in the Vanarama National League for next season.

FC Halifax Town are just 3 points away from 50 points, which would likely be enough to avoid the drop. A loss against AFC Fylde on Good Friday was the Shaymen’s ended an unbeaten run of 6 games and was Jamie Fullerton’s first loss in charge. Town however has still only one defeat in their last seven, including three impressive wins against Woking, Hartlepool and Dagenham and Redbridge, scoring at least twice in all three victories. They will look to do the same on Saturday.

Boreham Wood have enjoyed an excellent season, that has seen them rise to 3rd place in the league, inside the automatic promotion places. A win last time out against Wrexham helped them leapfrog the Dragons who fell into 4th.

Last time out the teams couldn’t be separated, as they drew 1-1, with Town putting on an impressive performance. Boreham Wood took the lead early on with a smart free-kick under the wall, with Adam Morgan bringing FC Halifax Town level late on in the second half after continued pressure from the away side.
