Pen Pic: Nicholson was the second goalkeeper brought in over last summer. The keeper generally filled the back-up role at former employers North Ferriby United however he was called upon several times in his time there, earning good reviews when he was between the sticks. His former clubs include Hull City, Scarborough and Garforth Town.
He was a part of the Villagers squad which won the FA Trophy in 2015 so is familiar with the feeling that Town fans and last seasonโs remaining players have had. He said: โWhen we won the trophy it pushed us on at the start of the next season.โ
