FC Halifax Town are delighted to confirm the signing of Owen Devonport, on loan from League Two side Fleetwood Town.
Having come through the academy at Accrington Stanley, the forward signed his first professional contact in 2023. He scored 21 in 67 appearances whilst with the under 18 and 23 squads. Whilst with Accrington, the forward had two spells out on loan at Clitheroe where he made a combined five appearances. The following January, Devonport made the switch to Fleetwood’s development squad.
In January 2024, Adam Lakeland signed Devonport on loan for King’s Lynn Town for the remainder of the season. He made 20 appearances and scored three as he helped the Linnets to an 18th placed finish. Last season, Devonport made 26 senior appearances for Fleetwood, scoring once. So far this season, the forward has made two appearances, both coming in cup competitions, and scored an injury time equaliser in their penalty defeat to Barnsley.
Devonport returned to Fleetwood on the 8th January 2026 following the conclusion of his loan spell.
