FC Halifax Town are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Owen Bray following his release from League Two side Barrow.
Bray spent time in the Leeds United academy, rising through the ranks and making an appearance for the under 23s in the EFL Trophy in 2020. In 2022, Bray left Leeds after his contract wasn’t renewed having made a number of appearances for the under 18s over the course of the previous season. In July 2023, Bray became one of the first players to sign a professional deal with Barrow’s b-team and made his first start for the first team in November. At the end of last season, the midfielder was one of 10 players released by the Bluebirds. Bray signs after a successful trial with the Shaymen.
