A striker who joined Halifax last summer Slew was a one-million-pound signing when Blackburn Rovers acquired his signature from Sheffield United in 2011. The striker spent four years with Rovers – having loan spells out to Stevenage, Oldham Athletic, Rotherham United, Ross County & Port Vale. He then signed for Cambridge United in 2015, where he spent two seasons. Slew has since turned out for Chesterfield, Plymouth Argyle, Rochdale, Boston & Morecambe – it was at the Shrimpers where he was in the side that won promotion to League One.
