Signed two summers ago, Cooke was a real impressive sight for Halifax in Pre-Season. The Scouse attacking midfielder was picked up after a compensation fee was paid to Colne, and it was at Fleetwood Town where Cooke first came onto the scene through their youth ranks.
He scored the only goal of the game for the Shaymen at Wembley to win the FA Trophy over Gateshead in May 2023
