FC Halifax Town will entertain York City at the Shay on Saturday in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the Yorkshire derby in 8th place looking for a fourth home win of the season.
Town were defeated 2-1 at Rochdale in midweek which followed a 1-0 victory at Boston last weekend thanks to Andrew Oluwabori’s 1st minute goal.
Last time at the Shay, Town were 2-0 down at the break at home to Tamworth but three second half goals from Billy Waters, Jamie Cooke and Scott High earnt Chris Millington’s side all three points.
York are 2nd in the table and their home form has seen 6 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat but on the road they are unbeaten with 3 wins and 4 draws so far. Their only defeat this season came at home to Boston back on August Bank Holiday Monday who won 2-0.
This week they beat Barnet 3-1 and 4-0 against strugglers Ebbsfleet United both at home, whilst their last away trip saw them return north from Woking with a point following a 1-1 draw.
Ollie Pearce is their top goalscorer with 6 goals in 15 league games whilst Lenell John-Lewis has 5 in 13 games.
They have a couple of former Town players in their ranks with Daniel Batty and Billy Chadwick at the Club.
Last season both games ended 1-1 between the two sides
