FC Halifax Town will travel to York City on Bank Holiday Monday for the Yorkshire derby in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
It will be 14th vs 15th in the table and both sides go into the game level on points with 49 but Town do have two games in hand over their hosts.
Town have had an excellent week with a Isuzu FA Trophy semi final penalty shoot-out win over Altrincham to get to a Wembley final in May, then following that won 3-1 at home to promotion chasing Wrexham in front of 7863 fans at the Shay on Good Friday.
Millenic Alli popped up with the goal at Altrincham to send the game to penalties and two second half strikes on Friday helped turn the game in the Shaymen’s favour.
In the league Town haven’t scored away from home in the last three and haven’t won in the last five. Town have picked up just three wins on the road at Scunthorpe, Solihull and Oldham.
York have picked up 13 points from the last 24 on offer in the league wth just one loss in five which was a 3-0 defeat at Wrexham. They have beaten Chesterfield and Barnet in the last two games.
The Minstermen have won 7, drawn 6 and lost 8 on home soil this season.
Their top goalscorer is Lenell John-Lewis is 12 goals in 38 appearances this season.
Rob Harker scored the only goal of the game as Town won the return fixture back in October.
