FC Halifax Town host Yeovil Town in the Vanarama National League on Saturday afternoon, 3pm kick-off.
It is 16th vs 19th in the table at the Shay with Town 5 points higher that the Glovers going into the game having both played 36 games this season.
Both sides are above the relegation places and a win for the Shaymen would see a 8 point gap with Yeovil with 9 games to play. The final relegation place as it stands is occupied by Gateshead who are 3 points below Mark Cooper’s side with two games in hand.
The Shaymen haven’t played at home since the 28th February when they beat Wealdstone 5-0 in front of their own fans due to away game in the FA Trophy quarter-final and the Bromley game being called off due to a waterlogged pithc.
Town have just one loss in the last six leagues games and have kept three clean sheets in the last three league games.
Yeovil lost 2-1 away at Barnet in midweek and drew 1-1 away at Chesterfield last weekend whilst their last home game saw a 1-0 win over Eastleigh at Huish Park.
They have just one win on the road in the league this season, 8 draws and 8 defeats to date, their only win came in a 2-0 victory over Dagenham on the 28th January.
There will be a couple of familiar faces in the Yeovil squad with Charlie Cooper and Josh Staunton now playing for the Somerset side.
Alex Fisher is their top goalscorer with 6 goals in 35 league games.
Matt Worthington scored the only goal from the penalty spot when the two sides met at Huish Park back in November 2022.
