FC Halifax Town entertain Wrexham at the Shay tomorrow night in our latest Vanarama National League game, 7pm kick-off.
It’s 7th vs 8th with the Shaymen three points above our visitors and a game in hand in the final play-off position as we head into our final 11 matches of the season.
Town have been on a good run in recent weeks, picking up 23 points in the last 30 on offer. Just one defeat in the last 10 games and haven’t lost at home since the 3-2 defeat to Maidenhead back in January.
The North Wales side have lost their last three games on the bounce and have failed to score in each of those games with a 3-0 defeat to Stockport last time out which followed 1-0 defeats to Torqu and Notts County.
Wrexham have won just once in their last five games which was a 3-0 win over Bromley. They boosted their squad with three signings at the weekend with former Town striker Gold Omotayo, Chris Sang and Keanu Marsh-Brown all joining prior to their match with Stockport.
The two sides met at the Racecourse Ground back in January and it finished 0-0. Last time at the Shay Town beat Wrexham 4-0 in the FA Trophy thanks to two goals from Jack Redshaw, Niall Maher and Danny Williams. Our last league game at home goals from Scott Quigley and an injury time goal from Devante Rodney helped Town to a 2-1 win.
