FC Halifax Town will host Woking at the Shay tomorrow in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen have picked up four points from two home games this week with a 2-0 victory over Wealdstone and a first home draw of the season as Town drew 0-0 with Solihull Moors on Tuesday night.

It’s now 23 points from the last 33 on offer and are unbeaten in six home games which has seen five wins and a draw. The last side to beat the Shaymen on home soil was Boreham Wood back on the 25th January.

Woking have appointed former Yeovil Town boss Darren Sarll as their new manager following the departure of Alan Dowson and he oversaw a 1-0 victory over Boreham Wood at Meadow Park last weekend, a first defeat at home for Luke Garrard’s side this season.

They have scored in each of their last five games and have kept clean sheets in five of their last six games.

The only team to score against them in that run was Solihull Moors who beat them 3-2 at home on the 26th March.

Their top goalscorers this season are Inih Effiong and former Town loanee Tahvon Campbell with 13 goals, however Campbell left Woking in January when he joined Rochdale.

The two sides met at Woking back in August and the Shaymen won 3-2 thanks to goals from Jesse Debrah, Martin Woods and Billy Waters.
