FC Halifax Town are back in action tomorrow with a home game against Woking at the Shay in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen had a weekend off last weekend from competitive football due to the 1st round of the FA Cup and will be looking forward to being back in action in the league.
Town were defeated 2-1 by York City in the last game at the Shay with two injury time goals giving the Minstermen all three points which saw York go top of the table. This came on the back of a 2-1 defeat away at local neighbours Rochdale.
Chris Millington’s side last win came in the 1-0 victory at Boston on the 19th October thanks to Andrew Oluwabori’s early goal and sit 10th in the table.
Woking are 18th in the table and have just one win, three draws and four defeats on the road this season
They drew 1-1 at home to Forest Green Rovers in their last home game in the league, following defeats away at Solihull (2-1) and Tamworth (3-2)
The Cards have just one win in their last 11 games which was a 1-0 victory at home to Wealdstone in September but they have scored in each of their last 9 league games
Charley Kendall leads their goalscoring charts with three goals in 15 games
Luke Summerfield and Florent Hoti were on the scoresheet for the Shaymen in the match at the Shay between the two sides last season, Dennon Lewis pulled one back for Woking but the Shaymen claimed all three points
