FC Halifax Town’s undefeated home record fell after a lightening start to the match. By the 16th minute the score was 1-3. Archie Love got Town away on the scoresheet in two minutes but, Jack Marriot got two of his three goals inside 13 minutes and three minutes later Scott Rendell scored. Marriot completed his hat-trick in the 73rd minute, The Shaymen replied instantly with Josh Wilson scoring straight from the kick-off. Reece Grey was sent off for Town to make the job harder, Dan Gardner got the third for Town.
