With 17 goals in 51 appearances for FC Halifax Town, Dan Gardner has an impressive record at the Shay. But where has he been since leaving the club?

Gardner signed for the Shaymen in 2012 after impressing in his two years with Droylsden where he made 69 appearances in the lower reaches of English football.

The Greater Manchester side seemed to introduce the attacker to life in football following some unsuccessful spells with Flixton, and even north of the border as he started out at Celtic.

Immediately following on from his departure from Halifax, Gardner spent three years with then Football League side, Chesterfield. Despite making 20 more appearances during his time in the Midlands, Dan could only accrue seven goals.

In 2015, he was loaned out to Tranmere Rovers. In his four appearances for the Birkenhead club, Dan scored two goals before being loaned to Bury the following year where he made only eight appearances.

Currently, Dan Gardner finds himself based at Boundary Park playing EFL League Two football with Oldham Athletic. So far, he has scored three goals in his 63 appearances for the Latics.
