FC Halifax Town will make the long trip south to take on Weymouth tomorrow in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game in 5th in the table and have games in hand over every team in the top seven apart from 4th placed Boreham Wood who have one game in hand.
Town have picked up 24 points from the last 36 on offer and are unbeaten in the last three league games with a 1-0 win over Barnet last week thanks to captain Niall Maher which followed a 1-1 draw at Notts County and a 3-1 win at Dagenham.
Pete Wild’s side will be looking for a 7th away victory of the season and can go above Boreham Wood with a win who don’t play due to their involvement in the FA Cup this week against Everton.
Weymouth are 21st in the table and have won only 3 of their 16 home games this season. They have beaten Eastleigh, King’s Lynn and Maidenhead on home soil so far.
They were defeated 1-0 away at Stockport County last weekend with an own goal from Cameron Murray helping the league leaders to victory. The Terras finished the game with ten men with the seconding off of Mark Kitching late on.
Jordan Slew and Kian Spence got the goals for the Shaymen in a 2-0 win earlier in the season when the two sides met at the Shay
Their top goalscorer is Josh McQuoid who has 5 goals in 28 appearances for them so far.
