FC Halifax Town will make the trip down the M1 this weekend to take on Wealdstone FC at Grosvenor Vale, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game on the back of Sunday’s 2-0 defeat at Kidderminster Harriers in the Emirates FA Cup and will look to put the result behind them and continue with their good form in the Vanarama National League.
Town go into the game in 5th place having dropped 2 places due to having no league match last weekend and have games in hand over a number of sides around them.
Wins over Torquay & Dover along with a draw at Bromley on the road have helped Pete Wild’s side to 7 points from the last 9 on offer away from the Shay taking us to 4 away wins this season.
Our hosts have lost their last two games in the league, a 3-2 away defeat at Bromley last weekend and a 4-1 home defeat to Stockport County. They have beaten Dover, Barnet and Grimsby in their last six games sitting 17th in the Vanarama National League table.
They have one former Town man in their ranks with Charlie Cooper plying his trade for Wealdstone. He has played 17 league games this season scoring 1 goal.
