FC Halifax Town will finish the Vanarama National League season with a trip to Wealdstone on Bank Holiday Monday, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen know that they have finished inside the play-off positions but results at Wealdstone but also at Boundary Park and the International Stadium will determine where Town finish in the table.
Chris Millington’s side sit 6th, victory or a draw at Wealdstone with Oldham losing at home to bottom of the table Ebbsfleet United would see them climb to 5th in the table.
Defeat at Wealdstone and Southend United winning at Gateshead would see Town finish 7th in the table.
Town have picked up 8 points from the last 24 on offer, they won 1-0 at home to Braintree Town last weekend thanks to a second half goal from Adam Senior.
It’s an important game for Wealdstone as well. They will start the game in the final relegation place and nothing but a win would give them a chance to stop up. Dagenham are a place above them with a point more but a goal difference of -21 better. The Daggers who beat Altrincham 6-1 at home last weekend, face a trip to midtable Solihull Moors
The Stones haven’t won in their last four games with defeats away at Southend & Boston, a draw against league champions Barnet and a draw at home to Maidenhead.
The two sides drew 2-2 at the Shay with Tom Pugh equalising in the final minute to earn a point in a game which saw Adrian Mariappa & Jaydn Mundle-Smith sent off for the Stones.
