1.Music legend Elton John been chairman of the club in two separate occasions, the first of which started in 1976.
2.In 2014 Watford announced that they would be renaming a stand at Vicarage road after Elton John, due to his service for the club.
3.Watford’s best ever league finish was 2nd under the management of their most successful manager Graham Taylor in 1982-83.
4.The hornets have never won a major trophy since they were founded back in 1881.
5.Luther Blissett is the club’s record goal scorer with 186 goals.
6.Blissett has also made the most appearances with 503.
7.Watford have played their home games at Vicarage road since moving there from Cassio road in 1922.
8.The hornets managed to secure promotion to the Premier League in the 2014/15 despite having four different managers throughout the year.
9.The Pozzo family who own Watford also own Udinese in Serie A and Granada from La Liga.
10.The 2015/16 was Watford first in the Premier League where they haven’t been relegated.
