This Unibond League clash was in front of a record attendance of over 500 supporters at Cantilever Park, and it was The Shaymen who prevailed in this fixture, winning 3-1. Nick Grey scored a brace for Town in the first half, the first goal being a tap in from close range in the 30th minute and just seven minutes later he cleverly volleyed the ball into the net from a similar position. Gavin Salmon pulled a goal back for the hosts by rounding the ‘keeper, but it proved to be in vein as James Dean finished off a solid Town performance with a great goal from 20 yards out, in the 85th minute.
