The Vanarama National League Team of the Season has been named as the stand-out starts of the season are rightly recognised.

The select side is decided upon by all member clubs, honouring those who have shone throughout the 2024/25 campaign.

The votes have been tallied up and double checked, and we’re delighted to confirm the eleven players to earn their place.

Seven clubs are represented – with champions Barnet and runners-up York City both boasting three players each.

The Bees’ Danny Collinge, Anthony Hartigan and Callum Stead make the cut, with the division’s top marksman also included.

Ollie Pearce, who scored an incredible 31 times, joins York colleagues Harrison Male and Callum Howe in earning a spot, and there’s also room for Altrincham’s 23-goal Regan Linney.

Despite AFC Fylde’s woes, Nick Haughton didn’t let anyone down. He registered 19 goals and is in the midfield alongside reliable Kyle McAllister from Forest Green Rovers.

If you’re talking goals, right-back Gus Scott-Morriss has more than most strikers! The Southend United defender hit 17 in the National League, and he was a popular pick for our member clubs.

The Shrimpers broke the hearts of Rochdale in the play-off Eliminator, but Sam Beckwith’s inclusion at least raises a smile after the left-back’s excellent first season at Spotland.
