There was just one game in the Vanarama National League this afternoon and it was one of the longest trips in English football as Gateshead travelled down to the south coast to take on Dover Athletic.
Dover defender Kevin Lokko put the home side ahead after just eight minutes for his sixth goal of the season.
However they were to denied any points as Gateshead left it late to return north with all three points.
Fraser Kerr equalised on 79 minutes before Gateshead won the game in the 94th minute through Greg Olley’s fourth goal of the season.
The win is Gateshead’s first of 2019 and moves them up into 7th place whilst Dover remain 19th in the table.
