FC Halifax Town continue their National League campaign on Saturday with a trip to Maidenhead United. The Magpies defeat to Barnet last weekend put an end to a six-match unbeaten streak, so The Shaymen will be hoping for a positive result against Alan Devonshire’s side.
Former Billericay Town boss Harry Wheeler will take control of a struggling Maidstone United side for the first time this weekend. His team will have a tough test against surprise league leaders Harrogate Town.
Like Harrogate, Leyton Orient are still unbeaten and will host an in-form Barnet at Brisbane Road.
Former Shayman Tom Denton joined Chesterfield midweek. His first game as a Spireites player will come against Dagenham & Redbridge, who have won their past two games despite a slow start.
Gateshead will be confident of their chances against the winless Braintree Town, whilst fellow north-east club Hartlepool United host Eastleigh.
Boreham Wood will try to bounce back from their disappointing penalty defeat in the Irn-Bru Cup to Dunfermline Athletic by beating an out-of-sorts Barrow, who have only notched one point from their last four fixtures, whilst Sutton United, who knocked Airdrieonians out of the same competition travel to Havant & Waterlooville.
Other games in the league include Bromley v Salford City, Wrexham v Ebbsfleet United, Dover Athletic v Solihull Moors and AFC Fylde v Aldershot Town
