FC Halifax Town have moved up to 4th place in the Vanarama National League following a 4-2 victory over Dover Athletic. A brace from Devante Rodney either side of a Jerome Binnom-Williams header and an own goal by Will De-Havilland was enough to secure victory for The Shaymen.
Elsewhere, Ebbsfleet United defeated play-off hopefuls 2-1 at Stonebridge Road to secure a much-needed 3 points for the relegation threatened side. The Fleet remain in 23rd place following the victory, 7 points adrift from safety. Defeat for Woking means they fail to capitalise on an opportunity to advance into the play-off places, remaining in 9th, although level on points with 7th placed Notts County and 8th placed Solihull Moors.
Solihull remain in 8th courtesy of a 0-0 draw at home to league leaders Barrow, although still having a game in hand on 5th placed Bromley, who they could overtake with a victory. Barrow remain 5 points clear of second placed Harrogate, with a game in hand, and retain a healthy lead at the summit of the Vanarama National League Table.
The only other fixture to take place tonight also finished 0-0, with Eastleigh drawing at home to Aldershot. The Spitfires have gone four points clear of the relegation zone as a result of tonight’s proceedings, with Aldershot just one point ahead of them in 16th.
