Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming round of fixtures in the Vanarama National League.

We can’t start anywhere else than with FC Halifax Town’s mouth-watering clash with league leaders Wrexham. The Shaymen will travel to Wales and start the evening in 4th place after they drew with Sutton United at the weekend. Wrexham took advantage of Town dropping points and regained their position at the top of the table after beating Aldershot Town. The Shaymen will face their former striker, Mike Fondop-Talom who already has five goals this season, but Town have been strong defensively so far and we couldn’t be more excited for this match.

FC Halifax Town’s Yorkshire rivals, Harrogate Town, have started their first ever season in the Vanarama National League brilliantly. They currently sit in 2nd place and are one of only three teams to remain unbeaten so far this season. Harrogate have a tough task ahead of them though as they will travel to Gateshead who have already caused a few upsets this year.

The other two undefeated sides, AFC Fylde and Leyton Orient, are both at home this Tuesday evening and they face visits from Salford City and Solihull Moors respectively.

After eight rounds of matches, there are still two clubs who are yet to taste victory. Both Dagenham & Redbridge and Braintree Town sit bottom of the league and they will play each other on Tuesday night. It’s a huge chance for one team to get their first win of the season.

Chesterfield have not adjusted to life in the Vanarama National League as well as they would have hoped. After being relegated from League Two last season, they currently sit 16th and will take on Boreham Wood at Meadow Park.

Elsewhere in the National League, Bromley take on Barnet, Dover host Ebbsfleet United, Barrow will travel to Hartlepool United, Maidenhead United face a visit from Eastleigh and Maidstone United will face Sutton United.
