Halifax Town’s game against Chorley this evening is the only game in the National League North tonight, as the Shaymen look to end a poor run of form. A win for Town wouldn’t move them up a place to eighth, but would put them just five points behind Tamworth, who occupy the final play off place.

A win for Chorley, who sit third, or a draw, would move them into second place above Kidderminster and behind AFC Fylde. Halifax will be without Danny Hone who was sent off in the defeat to Stalybridge.

There are four games taking place in the National League, all rearranged ties from previous gameweeks. Fresh from FA Cup Third Round action, where they drew with AFC Wimbledon, Sutton United travel to Essex to face Braintree Town, while Barrow, who lost to Rochdale in the same competition on Saturday, host strugglers Southport. Eastleigh, who lost 5-1 to Brentford, face promotion candidates Forest Green Rovers where a win for the Gloucestershire side would take them level on points with leaders Lincoln City. In the other game, Macclesfield play Dover in a tie originally abandoned due to thick fog.
