Following FC Halifax Town’s 3-1 loss to AFC Wimbledon, we look at some of the news from around the National League.

After some speculation from fans, Wrexham have confirmed that manager Sam Ricketts has left to join League One side Shrewsbury Town. Graham Barrow will take charge as they search for Ricketts’ successor.

Sutton United have announced Dan Wishart has left to join fellow National League side Maidstone United. Wishart joined Sutton in 2014 making over 60 appearances before joining Forest Green in 2016. Wishart re-joined Sutton at the start of this season before leaving earlier this week.

Despite facing a winding up petition, Ebbsfleet have reassured their fans that they have decided to pay the money and will therefore avoid folding. Ebbsfleet had been paying their players late in seven out of the last 10 months but have assured the fans that the payments are being made.

Astley Mulholland has been released by Barrow after his contract was mutually terminated. Mulholland suffered injury during pre-season and found his game time limited during the season. He had a short spell on loan at Hyde to try and maintain match fitness. He has decided, however, that his time at Barrow is over.

Hartlepool united are still without a manager after sacking Matthew Bates last week after nine months in charge. Director of football Craig Hignett has taken charge as the club seek their next manager.

Bromley have confirmed that Spanish midfielder Joan Luque has been recalled by parent club Lincoln city with immediate effect. The midfielder made five appearances for Bromley after signing in September.

Chesterfield manager Martin Allen has confirmed that seven players have been made available for transfer or loan. Amongst them is Zavon Hines, Kyel Reid, and Marc-Antoine Fortune.
