The two Halifax Town U19s secured a draw and a victory on this week’s Wednesdays fixtures as Jack Garside’s U19 played against Altrincham and didn’t go beyond a draw with the result being 1-1.
spoke about the game as he said, “The team went down 1-0 after five minutes, which is a really bad habit we have picked up this season and just makes winning football matches a lot harder”.
He concluded by saying “Bounced back well to score 15 minutes with a well taken goal by Favour, the surface made it hard to play football as it was really dry and bobbly, however the draw it is a fair result “
FC Halifax Town U19 now sit 12th in the table on joint points with Oldham Athletic and Gateshead.
Nick Spooner’s U19 walked off the pitch with a hard-fought victory against Altrincham as the team continues the chase for the first position.
The young Shaymen now sit 6 points off the first position with 31 points, Chorley continue to dominate up front with 37 points.
