The FC Halifax Town U19’s Wednesday fixtures this week had Jack Garside’s U19 playing away against Blyth Spartans and Nick Spooner’s U19’s playing at home against Chesterfield. These two games had a different turn out as Spooner’s lads managed to beat Chesterfield and keep a clean sheet as the final score was 3-0.
However, Garside’s’ side unfortunately took a 2-1 defeat against Blyth Spartans which now takes Halifax Town to the bottom of the table sitting 13th with 11 points in 15 games played.
Nick Spooner gave a few words on his game as he said “The team started well as we went up 3-0 in the first half. Nothing happened in the second half as we were comfortable so overall, we dominated the game”. This win now takes them third in the Division H and makes it six wins in a row for Spooner’s U19s in the league.
