FC Halifax Town U19’s fixtures this week were ‘ones to forget’ as coach Jack Garside’s U19’s took a heavy defeat in their away fixture against Chester as they lost 9-0. This is now Garside’s team’s fifth consecutive game without a win. They stay seated at the bottom of the table.
Garside spoke on the match and the bad period currently going on with his team as he said<” “To be honest not much to say. Got deservedly beat and sadly some of the lads threw in the towel and there will have to be changes to the squad for the last six games remaining”.
The other match that was played this Wednesday was Nick Spooner’s Halifax Town U19’s against Altrincham FC U19 which also ended in defeat as the young Shaymen lost 2-4 on home turf. This interrupted Spooner’s winning streak from the previous matches.
