Michael Duckworth, Tobi Sho-Silva and Charlie Cooper have all made the decision not to accept new contracts with the Club.
Charlie joined the Club in September 2019 after leaving Forest Green Rovers and he went on to start 29 games for the Shaymen in a season which concluded with a defeat against Boreham Wood in the play-off eliminator. Cooper scored one goal in his time with the Club in the 5-2 win over Maidenhead in January.
Tobi joined Town from Dover Athletic last summer and made 30 starts for the Club during his time in West Yorkshire scoring 8 goals.
He scored in Town’s 2-1 play-off eliminator defeat away at Boreham Wood, but it was not enough to see us progress in the play-offs.
Ducky joined the Shaymen in 2017 from Fleetwood Town having previously played at Hartlepool Utd. This season he made 31 starts for the Shaymen scoring three goals including his first goal for the Club in a 1-0 away win at Sutton. Michael dislocated his shoulder in the FA Trophy defeat at home to Halesowen and did not play in the League again this season but did return to action in the play-off defeat against Boreham Wood.
We wish them all the best for the future.
We will update you again on the retained list once further conversations have taken place.
