FC Halifax Town are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Theo Wainman, following a spell with Chesterfield’s academy and Dearne & District.
Coming through the youth setup with Chesterfield, Wainman progressed to the under 18s. Whilst with Chesterfield, the midfielder spent last season at Dearne & District in the Northern Counties East Football League Division One. Dearne & District were crowned champions last season, with Wainman being named young player of the season having made 32 appearances and scored three.
The midfielder joins having impressed on trial throughout pre-season.
