Ahead of Tamworth’s visit to The Shay dynamic midfielder Lois Maynard has said the team itching to get back to business.
“Everybody is looking forward to the game due to the inconsistency of games we’ve had, we want to get rolling again with three points.” Said Maynard.
Tamworth find themselves 23rd in the Skrill Premier table but Maynard realises that they cannot be underestimated.
“We won’t take any team for granted based on positions in the table, it will be a tough game and we’re raring to go.”
Maynard has credited the new signings of former York City captain Chris Smith and Leeds United loanee Simon Lenighan as positive influences for The Shaymen.
“New signings have given yet another boost to us all and we want to finish the remainder of the season on a high as we have done some good work this season.”
Kick-off against Tamworth at The Shay 15:00 Saturday 1st March.
