FC Halifax Town will make the trip to Tamworth in the Vanarama National League on Saturday, 5.30pm kick-off.

The Shaymen go into the game in 6th place looking for an 8th away victory of the season with wins at Solihull Moors, Gateshead, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Boston United, Maidenhead United and Ebbsfleet United so far

Town were defeated 2-1 at home by AFC Fylde in midweek with a Nick Haughton penalty inflicting defeat for the first time in the league since the 30th November.

Chris Millington’s side have just that one loss in 8 and picked up 15 points from the 24 on offer.

Tamworth sit in 15th in the table and have picked up 6 wins, 5 draws and 3 defeats on home soil in the league

They beat Wealdstone 1-0 in midweek thanks to Beck-ray Enoru’s second half goal. They lost 1-0 to Barnet at home last weekend in their last game at The Lamb Ground

Dan Creaney leads their goalscoring charts with 10 goals in 26 league games

Town won the home game 3-2 at the Shay with three goals in the second half. Haydn Hollis and Creaney put Tamworth ahead but goals from Billy Waters, Jamie Cooke and Scott High helped Town to all three points.
